Or any better options? I’m looking for post-to-post type quick disconnects... not many options that I can find.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

I was pretty much ready to design my own part when I found these...

EDIT: Found another option. Think I like it better. It’s the version 3.0 disconnects.

What application? There were a bunch of different ones available for Wranglers and XJ Cherokees.

My truck. Aftermarket rear bar, which I enjoy on the road but I sometimes wish I had the option of disconnecting it for a different kind of fun :)

Here’s a pic of the setup.

All the Jeep disconnects are a different type of link.

I don’t have any experience with those, but I am curious about the long term use of those. If the pins weren’t super tight, don’t you think they would get beat up and get loose and loud with the kind of constant shear forces they will be exposed to? That’s not to mention the keeper ring doodads on there rattling around. Also if they are super tight to where it wouldn’t be a problem, they would probably be a PITA to get out after some weathering.

Yeah, that’s why I’m asking. I’m not sure I’m in love with this setup, but with the link type I have I just don’t know what options I actually have here...

I would need to know what they are going on?

My experience with quick discos are with Rubicon Express and JKS.

I only link to JKS because they are the best out there, period. With the type you have listed above you literally need to be on perfectly level ground to get those pins to re-engage.

JKS use one disconnect point and then swing away to a frame mount. I have been able to re-engage these with my Jeep off camber. If you have never dealt with this then you would need to try.

I added another option I found too, and as far as installing off-camber I know from when I installed it in the first place there’s enough flex in the bar itself that would let me get it on as long as the ground was reasonably level, if not perfect.

The new link addresses another issue though, which is you literally have to get both sides lined up perfect at the same time to make it work.

Alternately I could just use a wing-nut and a couple ziplock bags...

x2 JKS is best.

edit: oh, this isn’t for a Jeep. Idk then.
